Is exercise getting to be a real
drag? Literally? Well,
you aren't alone and even though
that bicycle or treadmill used
to look like your best friends
but are now your worst enemies
- you don't have to give up
your good health while giving
up those new enemies!
That's
the good news. The reality
is that your body requires a
certain amount of exercise in
order to function properly.
These days we have 'Exercise
Recommendations' running out
of our ears!!
Fact is,
even if you just get out and
enjoy a SHORT walk daily OR
even every other day, you are
doing wonderful things to your
body. Keep in mind that word
'enjoy'. Exercise should
be FUN or it will not last.
If
you don't like walking, try
shooting hoops or swimming or
a game of baseball. Just
move.
It
might also be of help not to
think of Activity as Exercise.
Sometimes, the very word "EXERCISE'
gets most of running...or should
we say, sitting down.
