Diet Tips
- Fitting Your Favorite Foods
Into Your Daily Diet
The purpose of this exercise is to
identify foods that you love
and fit them into your daily
diet without causing a Diet
Disaster. What did you
have to eat today? Did they fit into the
food groups (fruits, vegetables, proteins
- including nuts and eggs, dairy and grains).
Now
- about those cupcakes, cookies,
cakes, donuts, muffins and so
forth... There is another
element in the daily diet that
we need: FAT. Therefore, - so don't panic
if all your favorites didn't
fit into the Daily Food Groups.
Examples
of how a healthy diet might look are listed
on the first line in the chart below. The
second line contains examples of what may
be 'favorite foods' that contain fat, yet
also contain ingredients that are healthy.
