Being thin doesn't guarantee a healthy body. Neither does
performing a herd of sweat making, gut-wrenching
exercise. The key to optimum health
is The Fitness Factor - the ability to find
a happy medium that keeps your body in tune
both physically and mentally.

tips, as well

you started on a healthier path. Next, map out your personal fitness
program. How?
Start out SLOWLY. In a SAFE
area, try walking either early in the
morning or in the evenings for about 15
to 20 minutes at your personal pace. Walk
at a rate that gets your heart rate up -
but don't walk so fast that you can feel
your heart beating out of your body. Or,
shoot some hoops, go skating, ride a bike
- anything that you like to do to keep you
moving at a rate that will strengthen your
body, and in turn promote that healthy level
of fitness that can add years to your life.
Activity builds muscle and strengthens
the body. Activity will yield stronger
lungs, a strong heart and your level of
endurance. A perk? Activity
burns calories!
